I’ll be upfront: I get a little help from digital assistants. I’m often critical—not of AI, but how powerful people are putting the human brain and bodies second. That is a crime against humanity. We as a society are co-conspirators and contributing to our own downfall. AI is a useful tool but should NEVER be a human replacement.
The process: I write the original blog post or story myself, then bounce ideas around with DeepSeek. After that, I ask DeepSeek to help add some colour to the story. Then I go back in and tweak things to bring it closer to my original voice where needed. So the bones are mine, DeepSeek just helps me dress it up. The final product if inaccurate or crap is my responsibility.
And for the images? I use ChatGPT to bring the initial concepts to life. In an ideal world, I’d have time to sketch every idea by hand or create complex composites in Photoshop, but honestly, I don’t.
Just to be clear: no jobs are lost or left unfilled because I use these as assistants. They’re simply part of my toolkit—just like the keyboard and the pen.
