A quick one today. Yes, yes, I know–a short blog from me? Hard to believe.
Sadly, you didn’t get the chance to meet my Quaker Parrot, Quirky. He was born five years after you died. You would have loved him, and he would have loved your hair.
This morning, I picked one of my favourite Elvis Presley song, Way Down. My gut feel was that Quirky would love this song, however, I couldn’t believe how in sync he is with the beat and some of the movements.
The upload audio couldn’t be used because of copyright, however, I went looking for a cover version in the hope it will have the same tempo and energy. I could not believe that not only did I find one with exactly the same tempo and energy, it’s live and very, very good. Elvis tribute singer, Bill Cherry.
